Did you know that this karate club opened up in 1968? We have quite a rich history. Check out the Alumni section for some photos and accomplishments of a few of the people who have trained and sweated at our club. As well, you can take a look at a photographic history of our club via the History section.

We had a 30th anniversary party in 1998, reuniting past and present NDG Karate Club members and instructors. You can find pictures of the event in our photos section here.

Here, you can learn a little bit about us and our history. This site itself is intended to be useful to both members and non-members of our club alike. Feel free to look around!

For starters, you can read about our club, the NDG Karate Club, and then follow this up with a little bit about the style we practice and the federation we belong to, the Yoshukai International Karate Association (or YIKA for short).
